This listing is for one stoneware sponge holder. A functional object to keep your sink area tidy and your sponge lasting longer. Sponges are able to dry between uses and not collect mold when kept in a holder. Each piece is thrown on a pottery wheel and then trimmed to create a finished bottom and the space to hold the sponge. Next the glazes are applied - first the white and then the color layered on top. Each piece is handmade and the overlapping design of the colors is similar but individually unique. Finally, it goes into a final glaze firing and the bottoms are sanded smooth so they don't scratch any surfaces.

• High temperature fired in an electric kiln
• Dishwasher and microwave safe although it is always best to hand wash handmade pottery
• All glazes used are food safe and lead free
